Organised by the Singapore Actuarial Society. The demand for actuaries has never been greater and so the event this year will look at the steps being taken to expand and strengthen the profession. Some of the topics to be discussed include how ESG would look through the actuarial lens and the impact on the profession from changes such as IFRS17, the new interest rate environment and COVID-19-related disruptions.

18th Singapore International Reinsurance Conference 2022
Theme: ‘Re-Connecting … Re-shaping the Future!’

The 18th Singapore International Reinsurance Conference (SIRC) will be an in-person event – with an online component for overseas delegates unable to attend in person. The SIRC, organised by the Singapore Reinsurers’ Association, has established itself as one of the most important events on the global reinsurance calendar where leading insurers, brokers and reinsurers gather to take stock of the reinsurance market and set the tone for the renewal season while exploring new opportunities for business cooperation. At the last live event in 2019, the SIRC drew almost 1,100 delegates and nearly 1,900 meeting visitors from 52 countries, with over 200 industry organisations actively supporting the event as partners, exhibitors and meeting hosts.

16th India Rendezvous

The India Rendezvous has evolved to be a flagship event for the Indian insurance market and Asia Insurance Review’s largest conference. The event over the years has attracted top insurance professionals from around the world and in 2020 close to 700 delegates registered for the event.
India is today the 5th largest economy in the world and the 10th largest insurance market in the world by premium volumes, and at the current high growth rate is all set to become the 6th largest insurance market by 2027.
