India:Lloyd's wants Insurance Bill passed first

Lloyd's, the world's largest insurance market, has said that it is keen to enter India and is upbeat over the reform momentum of the country's new government. However, it will wait for the Indian Parliament's approval of the Insurance Amendment Bill before setting up operations in the country, according to Lloyd's Chairman, Mr John Nelson.
