Global:Sompo Group announces appointments

In forming two business segments, Sompo property and casualty (P&C) and Sompo Wellbeing, the company has announced the appointments of the below to oversee each business segment. All appointments will be effective 1 April 2025:

Sompo P&C

  • Mr James Shea as CEO of Sompo P&C
  • Mr Katsuyuki Tajiri as senior vice president of Sompo P&C
  • Mr Kenneth Reilly as senior vice president of Sompo P&C
  • Mr Koji Ishikawa as senior vice president of Sompo P&C
  • Mr Kyotaro Hirose as senior vice president of Sompo P&C

Sompo Wellbeing

  • Ms Ryoko Shimokawa as senior vice president of Sompo Wellbeing
  • Mr Takamitsu Washimi as senior vice president of Sompo Wellbeing
  • Mr Yasuhiro Oba as CEO of Sompo Wellbeing
  • Mr Yasuki Kume as senior vice president of Sompo Wellbeing
  • Mr Yohei Namiki as senior vice president of Sompo Wellbeing
