Manulife has appointed Ms Bonnie Qiu as chief distribution officer, Asia, effective 19 August 2024 and Mr Rishi Srivastava as chief agency officer, Asia, also effective 19 August 2024. Both appointments are to Manulife's Asia distribution team.
In her new role, Ms Qiu will be responsible for driving the development and growth of Manulife’s multi-channel distribution platform across its 12 insurance markets in Asia, from elevating agency performance and service quality to deepening bancassurance partnerships and maximising the impact of its digital transformation.
Ms Qiu brings a wealth of experience in the financial services industry. She joins Manulife from HSBC.
In his new role, Mr Srivastava will be responsible for driving high quality sustainable growth of Manulife’s agency channels, enabled by digital tools and differentiated propositions.
Prior his new role, Mr Srivastava worked with AIA Life Insurance and AXA Financial Indonesia. He joins from AIA.
