Swiss Re's Board of Directors has proposed Mr Morten Hübbe and Mr George Quinn for election as new members of the Board at the upcoming AGM in April 2025.
Mr Hübbe worked at Zurich Insurance Group and Almindelig Brand Insurance. Most recently, he served Tryg as group CEO. Presently, he is chairman of the board of Trustly, Siteimprove and Conscia. He holds a master’s degree in finance and accounting from Copenhagen Business School.
Mr Quinn worked at Swiss Re and KPMG. Most recently, he served Zurich Insurance as group CFO and member of the Executive Committee. He holds a degree in engineering from the University of Strathclyde.
Current members of the Board Mr Philip Ryan and Sir Paul Tucker will not stand for re-election. Both are members of the Risk Committee, and Mr Ryan is also a member of the Audit Committee.
