Global:Lloyd's appoints new chair

Lloyd's has appointed Sir Charles Roxburgh as chair, effective 1 May 2025 and subject to regulatory approval and consent from the Prudential Regulation Authority and the Financial Conduct Authority. His appointment was also approved by the Council of Lloyd's. He succeeds Mr Bruce Carnegie-Brown.

Sir Roxburgh brings a wealth of experience. Prior to his new role, he worked with the UK Government, of which his most recent role was within His Majesty’s Treasury. Earlier, he was also the director-general financial services and worked with McKinsey

Sir Roxburgh was appointed Knight Commander of the Order of the Bath in 2022.
