I had the opportunity to sit down with Mr Albert Benchimol, President & CEO of AXIS Capital, at this year's Rendez-vous in Monte Carlo to discuss the firm's Singapore branch, which is celebrating its 10-year anniversary. During our time, Mr Benchimol shared with me his observations about the Asia Pacific insurance and reinsurance markets over the past decade, as well as where AXIS Specialty Ltd in Singapore fits into the larger footprint of its parent company.
