Singapore: Insurance industry personnel attend ILAS event

A large group of members and friends of the Insurance Law Association Singapore (ILAS) turned up for its Networking Evening evening held on the 1 March.
There was a good turn-out and ILAS President Mr Pooba Mahalingam announced that the networking event will be hosted annually by ILAS given the encouraging support for such industry gatherings. He also hoped that such events will raise the profile of ILAS in the Singapore market and increase its membership.
ILAS regularly holds evening talks on current legal/insurance topics, involving both local and overseas guest speakers, with the objective of improving the level of knowledge and expertise within the field of insurance law in Singapore.
ILAS (Singapore Chapter), formed in 1996 with members from the insurance and legal fraternity, is a chapter of Association Internationale de Droit Des Assurances.
