Actuarial Partners Consulting has become the first non-MNC firm of actuaries outside of the UK to receive accreditation under the Quality Assurance Scheme (QAS) from the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries UK. The award was presented during the IFoA Asia Conference 2018 in Bangkok in May.
The QAS is a global accreditation scheme designed to provide quality assurance regarding an organisation’s commitment to high quality actuarial work. As part of the certification process, Actuarial Partners underwent an evaluation by an independent assessment team selected by the IFoA. It audited various processes and programmes to ensure compliance with best practice guidance issued by the IFoA, in particular adherence to the principles underlying APS X2: Review of Actuarial Work.
