2020 perfect vision for the life insurance industry

Life insurance is noble and a force for good, says AIA Group’s Mark Saunders. It provides financial support to people when they need it most in bad times related to illness, injury and death. Health insurance similarly provides financial support in times of need. Anecdotally being utilised by civilisations such as the ancient Egyptians, the origins of the principles of life insurance potentially date back thousands of years, where people grouped together and cooperated to contribute to help support families in circumstances of the untimely death of a breadwinner.
