Sompo has appointed Mr Bill Zhang as president, consumer lines, effective 7 August 2024. In his new role, he will be responsible for leading the consumer lines strategy and operating model, as well as developing talent and capabilities across the APAC region.
Mr Zhang began his career 18 years ago as an actuarial analyst and has skillsets across pricing, data analytics, products and distribution. He joins from AIG.
Mr Zhang is a graduate of the University of Waterloo with a degree in mathematics.
