The Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance (ANZIIF) has announced the winners of the 20th Australian Insurance Industry Awards.
The Awards illuminate and inspire the best that the insurance industry has to offer. There are 17 award categories.
This year, the Awards attracted a total of 100 submissions.
The award ceremony was held last night at The Star in Sydney, bringing all sectors of insurance together to celebrate the finest talents in the Australian insurance industry. Over 800 people attended the event.
ANZIIF congratulated the winners of this year’s awards, who all demonstrated excellence, passion and a commitment to professionalism.
“Tonight, we celebrated not just the winners, but the dedication, innovation, and brilliance that define our industry. Your achievements reflect a commitment to excellence that inspires us all. Congratulations to our winners for setting new benchmarks and leading the way with their outstanding contributions”, said ANZIIF CEO, Katrina Shanks.
ANZIIF also thanked the judging panel, who gave their time to assess this year’s submissions, and its partners and sponsors.

Points of interest about this year’s Awards include:

Trade Risk took home this year’s Small Broking Company of the Year award for the second time. The first time was in 2021.

Aon was selected as the winner of the Large Broking Company of the Year for the second year in a row.

Insurance Advisernet was a standout winner as Authorised Representative Network of the Year for the sixth consecutive year.

NTI emerged as the winner in two categories this year, namely, Underwriting Agency of the Year and Claims Team of the Year, the latter for the second consecutive year.

Allianz Australia also won two awards this year, namely, as Large General Insurance Company of the Year and for Excellence in Workplace Diversity and Inclusion, the latter aslo for the second year in a row.

AIA Australia is the winner of the Life Insurance Company of the Year for the third year in a row.

Finity is once again the winner in the Professional Services Firm of the Year category, taking home the award for the fifth time.
