The Australian Prudential Regulation Authority (APRA) has advised that current Executive Director (ED), General Insurance and Banking (GIB), Ms Jane Magill, has been appointed ED, Life Insurance, Private Health Insurance and Superannuation (LPHIS), effective 16 February.
Ms Magill takes over from Ms Carmen Beverley-Smith.
In turn, Mr Peter Diamond will fill Ms Magill’s current role. Mr Diamond, who is currently General Manager for Banking, will become acting ED GIB while a recruitment process is conducted for his role.
Mr Diamond's acting period will commence 16 February.
Mr Peter Kohlhagen will remain acting in the ED LPHIS role until Ms Magill’s appointment takes effect.
