Allianz Partners has promoted Mr Carsten Staat to the role of Regional Managing Director for APAC, effective 1 August 2026.
Over the past four years as Managing Director for Allianz Partners Germany, Mr Staat drove strong growth, elevated customer satisfaction and secured strategically important partnerships that strengthened the company’s market position.
He has been with the Allianz Group since 2001, building extensive experience across a diverse range of leadership roles.
Mr Staat succeeds Mr Vinay Surana, who has been leading the APAC region for six years, and will assume a new role as Senior Advisor to Allianz Partners CEO Mr Tomas Kunzmann from 1 August 2026 through the end of the year.
