Manulife Hong Kong and Macau has promoted Ms Carrie Tong to the role of Chief Distribution Officer.
In her new role, Ms Tong is responsible for accelerating business growth across all distribution channels, diversifying partnerships to deliver superior value to different customer segments and shaping a holistic distribution strategy for Hong Kong and Macau. She also plays a pivotal role in advancing the next generation of distribution, integrating channels, capabilities and digital to better serve customers and partners.
Ms Tong joined Manulife in 2015 and has held a number of leadership roles spanning Asia and Hong Kong Strategy and Transformation, as well as the Macau Branch and its Distribution. She became COO in March 2023.
She succeeds Mr Ivan Chan, who is leaving the company to pursue external opportunities.
