QBE Asia has appointed Mr Jeremy Lau as CUO, effective 1 August 2024. In his new role, he will be responsible for driving the firm's underwriting strategy, governance and performance.
Mr Lau brings over 25 years of experience across actuarial, underwriting and distribution functions. He also has a proven track record of developing business strategies and delivering customer value propositions, focused on sustainable growth.
Mr Lau has been with QBE Asia since 2016 as chief actuary. He succeeds Mr Andy White, who is now group head of underwriting strategy and performance.
