Prudential has appointed Ms Chan San San as CEO of Prudential Singapore, effective September 2024 and subject to regulatory approvals. She will succeed Mr Dennis Tan who currently holds the Singapore CEO role in addition to his position of managing director of the Strategic Business Group (SBG) with oversight of Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam.
Mr Dennis Tan will remain CEO of Prudential Singapore until regulatory approval for Ms Chan's appointment is received.
In her new role, Ms Chan will manage Prudential Singapore’s extensive distribution network to meet the health and wealth needs of its policyholders.
Ms Chan brings more than 20 years of experience across consumer wealth and private banking at Citi. Prior to her new role, she worked with Citi Private Bank. Her experience spans strategy, sales and marketing, client management, product management, strategic innovation and transformation, governance and risk management.
Ms Chan is a certified chartered financial analyst and holds a bachelor’s degree in accountancy with a minor in business law from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore.
