AXA Climate School fosters young talent in Hong Kong

AXA Hong Kong and Macau (AXA) launched the AXA Climate School in 2022, aiming to empower young talents in Hong Kong, who are eager to expand their knowledge of sustainability.

Celebrating its third anniversary, AXA has expanded the online course to all young talents in Hong Kong, enhancing the programme with advanced, business-oriented e-learning modules and an innovative structure designed to better equip future leaders for the challenges of our changing climate.

The programme features:

  • Four mandatory e-learning courses: These courses provide foundational knowledge on sustainability and the essentials of a climate transition roadmap, focusing on business and sustainability, The low-carbon transition, acting on carbon footprint and how organisations adapt to climate change
  • More than 20 optional courses from human resources to sales and marketing
  • Complimentary live expert webinar: Learners can interact directly with climate and business experts in an engaging environment, exploring main topics such as sustainability strategies, global trends and regulations and the future of employment in a green economy.

This year, the partnership has been expanded to seven local leading universities from five, including The University of Hong Kong, The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, The Hang Seng University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong Baptist University, Lingnan University, Hong Kong Metropolitan University and Hong Kong Shue Yan University. 

“AXA is dedicated to addressing climate changes and empowering the next generation, as we believe young people are vital in shaping a sustainable future. Education is central to this mission, equipping future leaders with the knowledge and skills to tackle climate challenges and drive meaningful change toward a more resilient world,” AXA Greater China CEO Sally Wan said in a statement.
