The government of India has appointed Mr Ramachandran Doraiswamy as CEO and managing director of the Life Insurance Corporation of India (LICI) for a three-year term.
With a career span of close to four decades with the life insurance behemoth, Mr Doraiswamy was previously one of the managing directors of the company. As managing director, he headed the marketing through bancassurance, group business, customer relations, finance and compliance functions.
