AIG has appointed Mr Scott Leney as Regional President of APAC, effective 1 February 2026 and subject to regulatory approval.
In his new role, he will lead AIG’s businesses in Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, South Korea, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Vietnam and the Philippines.
Mr Leney has more than three decades of experience leading global risk teams in the APAC region. He joins AIG from Everest Insurance, where he served as Head of APAC. Prior to Everest, he spent 25 years at Marsh McLennan in senior leadership roles.
He takes over from Mr Chris Colahan, who will be leaving AIG to pursue other opportunities.
