AIA Life Korea has announced that Mr Nathan Chuang, CEO, has decided to leave the insurer to pursue other opportunities.
According to news platform Business Korea, the insurer also announced that Ms Helena Chon, currently CFO, will assume the interim role of CEO and Representative Director, subject to the relevant corporate and regulatory procedures.
Mr Chuang joined AIA from Citi in 2014 as Associate Director at the Regional Chief Executive Office, and worked in several roles, including Director of Chief Executive Office, Director of Investor Relations and Director of Group Financial Management and Planning, before being appointed CEO in 2022, his LinkedIn account showed.
Ms Chon joined AIA in 2013 in an actuarial role, according to her LinkedIn account. Business Korea noted that she has served as CFO since 2022.
