Miller has appointed Mr Andrew Yarwood as a Senior Director in its marine team, and Ms Katie Murrell as Director of Sport, Entertainment, Corporate and A&H.
In his new role, Mr Yarwood focusses on direct marine, with responsibility for supporting business development and client outcomes across both London and international markets.
Mr Yarwood brings extensive legal and insurance expertise and a deep specialism in the marine sector, where he has operated for more than two decades.
He joins Miller from Gray Page Intelligence Services. Prior to that, he spent over a decade as a London market insurance lawyer, holding senior positions at international law firms in London. Andrew began his career in the marine sector as a Claims Manager at Britannia P&I Club.
In her new role, Ms Murrell is responsible for delivering specialist insurance solutions to sport and entertainment-focussed clients. She focusses on risk and exposure across a wide range of sports and entertainment verticals.
Ms Murrell joins Miller from Tysers Insurance Brokers, bringing 15 years of experience in the insurance market. Her background spans financial lines, contingency and corporate insurance, with a particular focus on entertainment and sports clients. She has worked with a wide range of clients across both sectors, designing and placing bespoke insurance programmes for major sporting events and complex entertainment risks.
