Australia:Insurers take active role in bushfire cleanup

Local insurers have joined hands with the Tasmanian government this week to help bushfire victims start rebuilding their lives, says the Insurance Council of Australia (ICA). Insurers have received 1783 claims, with insured losses estimated at A$86.7 million (US$90.4 million).
