The Non-life Insurance Association announced it has entered into a business agreement with the Seoul Family Court, the Korea Social Workers' Association and the Korea School Social Workers' Association to assist children and teenagers under the care of legal guardians.
As part of the initiative, the Non-life Insurance Association will donate KRW20m ($13,860), funded by the new Hope Healing Fund established by the Credit Recovery Committee, a social contribution initiative.
The donation will be used to provide essential items such as clothing, shoes, and educational materials to children and adolescents who have lost their parents or are under the protection of legal guardians due to parental rights being revoked because of abuse and neglect.
The Seoul Family Court will identify children and teenagers in need of financial support, with the project being implemented through collaboration with the Korea Social Workers' Association and the Korea School Social Workers' Association.
