Having already issued and distributed an initial public offering (IPO) to Nepali citizens working overseas, Nepal Micro Insurance will be opening it the general public from 23 February 2025, according to Nepalese newspaper Republica.
In this phase, the company is expected to issue 1.8m shares to the general public, worth NPR184.5m ($1.3m), the article stated.
Interested investors can apply for the IPO until 27 February 2025, the article said. If all shares are not subscribed by then, the period of issuance will be extended to 9 March 2025. Investors must apply for 10 shares at minimum, with a maximum limit of 100,00 shares, the article also showed.
