Canopius has appointed Mr Ray Wong as energy underwriter. According to Mr Johnny Kim, Canopius head of energy and construction, APAC, Mr Wong's technical depth and commercial mindset make him an excellent addition.
Mr Wong also has a track record in underwriting complex energy risks, with experience in renewable energy, Mr Kim said.
Mr Wong brings 14 years of experience in underwriting complex energy risks across global markets. He joins Canopius from Lancashire Insurance Company (UK), where he focussed on underwriting offshore and onshore upstream energy portfolios, including construction and operational risks.
