Liberty Mutual Reinsurance Group (LM Re), part of Liberty Mutual Insurance Group, has promoted Mr Tom Spurgeon to the role of Global Head of Cyber Reinsurance.
In his new role, Mr Spurgeon is responsible for the growth of the global cyber portfolio for LM Re, as well as working with brokers and clients to develop structured cyber solutions.
Mr Spurgeon has been with Liberty Mutual Reinsurance for nine years and is a prominent figure in the reinsurance market.
He succeeds Ms Ivonne Staisch, who has left the business to pursue new opportunities.
