Hollard Insurance Australia has appointed Mr Mark Adams Chief Risk Officer.
In a LinkedIn post, the insurer noted that Mr Adams brings more than 20 years of experience spanning financial services and regulation. He brings deep expertise and leadership across risk and governance, as well as a practical understanding of how strong risk management underpins sustainable business performance.
Mr Adams joined Hallard from Westpac, where he spent over seven years as Chief Risk Officer of Westpac Institutional Bank and Treasury. He also held leadership roles with APRA, National Australia Bank, UBank and Versent. Prior to that, he also worked with NatWest and Mobil Oil.
