Sun Life has appointed Mr Randy Lianggara as president, emerging markets, Asia, effective 1 November 2024. In this newly created role, he will help to drive growth across Sun Life's businesses in the fast-growing emerging markets of Indonesia, Vietnam and Malaysia, as well as oversee the company's joint venture with China Everbright Group in mainland China.
Prior to his new role, Mr Lianggara worked with AXA Indonesia. He holds a bachelor of business administration from Iowa State University and a master of business administration from Golden Gate University. He is also a Certified Financial Planner, Certified Life Underwriter, Certified Wealth Manager, as well as a ChFC Charter Holder.
