Charles Taylor has appointed Mr Allwyn D'Souza as senior surveyor in Sydney, Australia; Mr Duan Mingxin as surveyor in Shanghai, China; Captain Harshvardhan Kumar as director - marine technical services in Australia; Mr Ong Eng Hong as marine surveyor in Singapore and Mr Steve Hawthorne as senior marine surveyor in Hong Kong.
In their new roles, Mr D’Souza, Mr Duan, Captain Kumar, Mr Ong and Mr Hawthorne will strengthen Charles Taylor’s capacity to manage complex, cross-border marine projects.
Mr D’Souza brings over 46 years of experience in the marine and insurance industry. He is a seasoned expert in high-value and complex claims, and his credentials include expertise in cargo claims, hull damage and liability cases.
Mr Duan has eight years of experience.
Mr Ong has over 20 years of experience in the marine sector, and his background includes H&M damage investigations.
Mr Hawthorne has 34 years in the marine industry. His expertise includes marine casualty work for H&M and P&I insurers and mega yacht inspections and cargo damage.
