The Pan-Asia Risk and Insurance Management Association (PARIMA) has successfully concluded its Next-Gen Risk Takers Challenge - Beijing Edition, a dynamic speaking competition designed to empower emerging risk professionals by providing them with a platform to share their insights, experiences and perspectives with a live audience.

The challenge attracted strong interest from the local risk community, with risk professionals from various industries applying to take part. After a competitive selection process, three finalists were chosen to compete in the finals.

The challenge tested not only their knowledge of risk management, but also their ability to communicate ideas with clarity, confidence and critical thinking under pressure.

Of the three finalists, Ms Yang Bingjie, Data Protection Officer at BMW (China) Insurance Brokers was declared the winner.

“The future of risk management will be shaped by a new generation of risk professionals who are willing to speak up, challenge perspectives and bring fresh ideas to the table,” said PARIMA President Annacel A. Natividad.

“It is inspiring to see the next generation in Beijing step forward and share their experiences and perspectives with the wider risk community.”

Said Ms Natividad, “As we conclude this year’s Next-Gen Risk Takers Challenge, PARIMA remains committed to creating platforms that empower young professionals to find their voice and help shape the future of our profession across Asia.”
