Japan:Yen-denominated life policies offset decline in foreign-currency business in FY2024

The premium income and other revenues of Japan's 41 life insurance companies increased slightly by 0.1% year on year to JPY43.0tn ($292.4bn) in the fiscal year ended 31 March 2025 (FY2024), according to an article by the Life Planning Department of The Toa Reinsurance Company (Toa Re).
