Berkeley Insurance Australia has announced the appointment of Gareth Edwards as its new national head of claims, according to a LinkedIn post on Thursday.
Mr Edwards brings over two decades of experience across underwriting agencies, brokerages, and insurers since beginning his career in 2001. He has worked with a broad range of clients, from retail and SMEs to large corporates and government entities.
He is also described by Berkeley Insurance Australia as “a seasoned litigator, having defended numerous actions across all levels of the state and federal court systems. This depth of experience gives him a unique understanding of our clients’ challenges and needs.”
