Thailand's regulator collaborates with air force to continue developing employees, in third year of programme

| 28 May 2026

Thailand's insurance regulator, the Office of Insurance Commission (OIC), is continuing efforts to develop high-potential employees.

OIC Secretary-General Chuchat Pramoonpol described the project as a key policy and direction for the regulator’s organisational development, and noted that its goal is to cultivate a new generation of leaders with high potential, analytical thinking skills, creativity and the courage to think outside the box.

This is coupled with instilling leadership qualities that encourage bold thinking and strategic decision-making in all situations.

In a ceremony to celebrate the opening of the third year of the programme, Mr Chuchat also stated that over the past three years, the project has continuously and concretely developed, having focussed on laying the foundation for leadership and teamwork in its first year, and later emphasised cross-functional skills development, data-driven thinking and adaptation to the digital age in the second year.

The third year marked a collaboration between the OIC and the Royal Thai Air Force’s Education Department. It will also introduce an intensive learning process covering topics such as leadership, systematic thinking using casual loop diagrams and teamwork, among others. Real-world case studies, such as the crane collapse in Nakhon Ratchasima province and flooding in Hat Yai district will also be used.
