Sun Life has appointed Mr Anshuman Das as chief bancassurance officer, Asia. In his new role, he will be responsible for leading the company's bancassurance strategy, working closely with the senior leadership team across Asia to drive a world class distribution function founded on excellence, quality and innovation.
Mr Das brings 15 years of experience spanning both insurance and consumer banking businesses. He has held leadership roles in local and regional capacities, with deep expertise in distribution partnerships, business management and corporate strategy.
Prior to his new role, he worked with DBS, HSBC Life, Citibank and Standard Chartered Bank.
Mr Das holds a bachelor’s degree in chemical and biomolecular engineering from the Nanyang Technological University of Singapore, with a master of business administration with HKU Business School in Hong Kong.
