Global specialist asset manager, Aberdeen Investments, announced the appointments of Mr Alan Koey and Ms Echo Yang as Senior Solutions Directors to its Strategic Insurance Group in APAC.
Mr Koay brings extensive experience in insurance investment and product solutions, having held leadership roles at Etiqa Insurance Singapore as well as AXA Life Insurance Malaysia. Additionally, he has broad financial services experience with positions across private banking, corporate finance and asset management at CIMB, PwC and AIA.
Prior to her new role, Ms Yang was previously Investment Director of Quantitative Analytics on Aberdeen’s APAC fixed income desk, where she led insurance-centric portfolio modelling.
Ms Yang has deep expertise in portfolio construction and investment innovation across asset classes.
