Singapore:GAIP Insurance Innovation Competition 2025 expands globally

The GAIP Insurance Innovation Competition 2025?is now global. In its third year, the competition is bringing together students from top universities worldwide to present their ideas in insurance innovation.

Organised by?the Nanyang Technological University, Singapore’s (NTU Singapore) Nanyang Business School, and the Global Asia Insurance Partnership (GAIP), the GAIP Insurance Innovation Competition serves as a platform for students to present their research and ideas on innovative insurance solutions that enhance risk resilience. 

This year’s competition has already secured participation from?leading universities across Asia and Europe, including institutions such as Fudan University (China), the University of Hong Kong (Hong Kong SAR, China), Keio University (Japan), Seoul National University (South Korea), and the University of St. Gallen (Switzerland).

Participating universities will host local competitions, and the best teams from each country will then advance to the final showdown in Singapore, competing for a total prize pool of?US$26,000. Additionally, the winning teams from Singapore universities will also have the exclusive opportunity to?showcase their business case at a major regional industry conference?in late 2025. 

Important competition dates are:

•             Registration Period: February – April 2025 

•             Local Winners Announced: May – July 2025

•             Global Final Round in Singapore: August 15, 2025

The GAIP Insurance Innovation Competition continues to be a launchpad for the?next generation of industry leaders. By combining?innovation, the competition is equipping young talents with the skills to drive transformative change, tackle emerging industry challenges, and shape the future of insurance with innovative solutions.
