Hanwha Group has appointed Mr Kwon Hyuk-woong, former vice chairman of Hanwha Ocean and Mr Lee Kyung-geun, president of Hanwha Life Financial Services as individual representatives of Hanwha Life Insurance, according to Maeil Business Newspaper. The article also noted that Mr Yeo Seung-joo, Hanwha Life Insurance vice chairman, was appointed head of Hanwha Group's management support office.
Mr Kwon was a doctor at KAIST. He served as Hanwha Energy, Hanwha TotalEnergies and Hanwha Ocean’s CEO for 40 years.
Mr Lee, an insurance sales expert, served as the head of Hanwha Life Insurance’s planning office and the head of the insurance division. He has served as CEO of Hanwha Life Financial Services CEO since 2022.
Mr Yeo will serve as the head of the management support office to assist Hanwha Group chairman, Mr Kim Seung-yeon, to establish the group’s future vision and support global business.
Mr Yeo served as the head of Hanwha Life’s strategic planning office, the strategic team leader of Hanwha Group’s management planning office and Hanwha Life Insurance’s business general manager. He was appointed Hanwha Life’s CEO in 2019.
